HealthQuest will be holding its annual fundraiser, “An Evening of Comedy”, on Saturday, October 6 at 7:30 pm at VFW Post 3735 in downtown Oscoda (240 Chrysler Rd.). All net proceeds from the show will help fund future HealthQuest activities, such as the annual Shore Fun Beach Run, Yogafest, the Peace Pole Project, and many others.
Returning to headline this year’s show will be Jason Douglas, a northern Michigan native who has found stand-up comedy success touring the country. With his quick wit and commanding stage presence, Jason takes his audience on a roller coaster ride of laughs. He has been featured on Comedy Central, ESPN’s College Game Day, the Bob & Tom Radio Show, and performs frequently in Las Vegas. The opening act will be Cam Rowe, another national touring comic, reality TV personality, and a failed basketball star from Southfield, Michigan.
Admission to the show is just $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the VFW, from any HealthQuest volunteer, or by emailing jeff@healthquest4you.com.
